Helping halt species decline

Newquay Zoo is part of Wild Planet Trust, a conservation charity working internationally to achieve our mission of helping halt species decline.

We believe that conservation is something that everyone can be involved with and that together we can all make a difference to live more sustainably with nature.

Sustainable Palm Oil

Newquay Zoo is working in collaboration with local organisations and businesses to try to make Newquay a Sustainable Palm Oil Community. We are advocating for certified sustainable palm oil that is grown in a way that protects rainforests and prevents further deforestation.

Science Research

Science & research

We coordinate scientific research in our zoos, nature reserves and in the areas where our international partners are based. We see these as amazing wild laboratories in which everyone can learn and discover.
