Leave a Gift in Your Will

NZ Penguins 05 21 ONB LR

We are always very grateful for your legacies to support our vital wildlife work…

Leaving a gift in your will to Newquay Zoo will support our wildlife work, helping to prevent the extinction of threatened species both in the UK and overseas.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive some wonderful gifts. Gifts in wills and donations help us to save species from extinction. For example:

  • £500 covers the cost of planting a standard tree. This includes the tree, transport, protection, weeding and watering for three years until it is established.
  • £2,000 buys vital health checks for our mammals.
  • £13,000 provides one year’s funding for our environmental education programme within the Omo Forest Reserve in Nigeria.
  • £25,000 helps us in our battle to save black rhino.

Gifts of any size make a real difference to our vital conservation and education work we do, so join us today. Together we can make a difference.

“I would like to leave Newquay Zoo a gift in my will – what should I do?”

1.

Read our ‘Making a Will’ guide by clicking the button below:

2.

It’s vital to include our full name. Please specify that you are leaving a gift to:

  • Wild Planet Trust – registered charity number 306622
  • Paignton Zoo – registered charity number 300923
  • Newquay Zoo – registered charity number 300923

3.

Make the most of your gift. A gift of a percentage of your estate (a residuary gift) will make the biggest difference to us; however, you may choose to leave us a gift of a fixed sum of money (a pecuniary gift).

4.

Please let us know. Telling us about your gift will enable us to plan for the future as it gives us a rough idea of how much we can commit to our vital work. This is not a binding commitment, and anything you tell us is completely private and confidential.
