Set in 13 acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens, it is an oasis that allows visitors to release their inner animal and have fun! From the amazing savannahs of Africa to the rainforests of South America, there is lots to discover and enjoy.
The work we do to breed and care for endangered species is all paid for by your visit. Thank you!
We're open daily from 10.00am, with parking available in the adjacent council owned car park. Seasonal charges apply. We recommend you allow at least 3 to 4 hours for your trip to the Zoo. We have lots going on daily, including keeper feeds and talks, activity trails, face painting, children’s play area, Dragon Maze…. and much more!
Besides a fun trip to the zoo, when you visit us you’ll also be supporting our international effort to save animals through conservation breeding programmes.
Please note: We only allow guide and assistance dogs on site.
